About AgendaSearch

Texas government transparency, made searchable.

AgendaSearch is a full-text search platform for public meeting documents published by Texas cities, counties, and special districts. We collect agendas, meeting minutes, and public notices daily — OCR-process them into searchable text — and index them so you can find anything in seconds.

Texas Open Meetings Act requires most governmental bodies to post meeting agendas and minutes to the public. In practice, these documents are scattered across hundreds of different websites in inconsistent formats — PDFs buried in city portals, scanned images with no text layer, and pages that go dead after a year. AgendaSearch solves that.

We built this tool for the researchers, journalists, attorneys, lobbyists, and engaged citizens who need to know what local governments are doing — without spending hours clicking through municipal websites.
